Itinerary And Details Of The Event
The Industry- Academia interaction is planned to be organized on the 7th of November. It will be a 3 and a half hour long seminar, wherein we would be discussing issues pertaining to industry academia interaction for overall development of research standards of the country with idea of maximizing involvement of student community.
The structure of the plenary sessions is as follows:
Session 1: Inauguration
- Address: (5 min) -- welcoming industry to the Meet
- Introductory Speeches: about the need in Today’s developing world for the academia to work in conjunction with the industry for faster progress.
Session 2: Students’ Perspective:
- Technocracy/PoWER presentation
- PoWER Speech
- Technocracy video - showcasing IITD research and potential
- Conclusion
Lunch: 45 min
Session 3: Industry involvement in IITD Projects
- Speeches by representatives from industries already collaborating with IITD
Session 4: Open Panel Discussion and Question and Answer session (40 min)
This session will involve a panel of 8 members from IITD comprising of both students and professors who would be putting forth and answering questions from the industries. Questions from attending public (read students) are also solicited.
Session 5: Conclusion of meet and Vote of Thanks (10 min)
