What is Industry Academia Meet-The Student Perspective’ 09?
Technocracy, under the aegis of Industrial Research and Development (IRD) and FITT, IIT Delhi is organizing an interaction between the industry and the academia aimed at providing a platform for exchange of ideas and views to promote research and development in the institute involving industrial collaboration with active participation of the student community, especially those at the undergraduate level.

How to be a part of the event?
Since the meet is aimed at developing a better perspective to understand the type of research the industry lays emphasis, the students having an active interest in research and innovation and willing to work upon national problems are invited to be a part of the event and interact with the industry personals. General entry by Institute I-Card.
- Special Invitation
There is also provision of Special Invitation for having personal lunch with a specific industry. The selected 50 students will be invited to attend a one-on-one interaction session with the company representatives during the working lunch.
For the Special Invitation Pass the student need to :
- open your account on Technocracy Website
- In content menu -> registration for Industry Academia Meet
- Fill preference of 3 companies
- Submit a statement of Purpose of 50 words (maximum) to state the idea of an innovation that can benefit the industry and what you expect from the industry in terms of a project of your own idea or an industrial design challenge.
The selection will be solely on the basis of the innovative idea presented and his enthusiasm to pursue the idea in his academic/non-academic project ventures in IITD.
Even if the a student is not selected in the top 50 he/she will be given full opportunity to ask questions in the Open Panel Discussion and Q&A session (details in itinerary)
